Sleeping on Tabarca is a genuinely rare experience: once the last boat returns to the mainland (around 6:30-8:00 pm depending on the season), day-trippers vanish and the island belongs to overnight guests. Sunset without crowds, a quiet dinner, and the Marine Reserve all to yourself first thing in the morning. The catch: there are only three places to stay — and in summer they sell out fast.
The island's only "proper" hotel: a 3-star in a restored 18th-century building, 15 rooms, several with sea views. Breakfast included with most rates — the sweet spot between charm and comfort.
The best-rated of the three: an 18th-century fishermen's house beautifully restored. Just 4 rooms, a sun terrace and the beach 3 minutes away on foot. If you want the most special stay on the island, this is it.
The simplest option and usually the cheapest. Air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, 2 minutes from the beach. Ideal if you'll spend the whole day out and just need a comfortable base to sleep.

Secure the crossing first, then the bed: in summer both sell out.
